About the show

For neurodivergent women and women healing from trauma. And yes, sometimes those are the same woman. For the one who got told she was fine when she wasn’t. Who found out in adulthood that her brain was never broken, it was just never built for this. Who’s done the talking, read the books, and still feels stuck in survival mode. I’m Autumn Moran. A licensed therapist, life coach, a yoga instructor and an AuDHD woman who healed her own way through. Each week we go into what nobody names out loud: late diagnosis and the grief that comes with it, masking and autistic burnout, the mother wound, the father wound, boundaries with unsafe family, and healing from sexual trauma. Neurodivergent-affirming always which means no fixing, no white-knuckling, no toxic positivity, no “everything happens for a reason.” Every episode ends with a short practice you can actually use, because healing takes more than talking. Come as you are. There’s no schedule for this.  Awakened Heart is a podcast for neurodivergent women healing from trauma - especially women who have been late diagnosed with ADHD, autism, or AuDHD. I help women who’ve done the talking and still feel stuck in survival mode because insight alone doesn’t reach what’s living in your body. We work with your nervous system, on your timeline, in a way that’s built around how you’re actually wired. Hosted by Autumn Moran, Licensed Professional Counselor and trauma specialist in Texas, each episode covers trauma recovery, late diagnosis grief, sexual trauma healing, nervous system regulation, and living life on your own terms.
