The Queer Bible

The queer community deserves better content.  Warning: this podcast might make you a better person. Your guide to queer culture. In our first series, host Jack Guinness chats with a diverse group of change-makers, activists, actors, musicians, writers and legends including Sir Ian Mckellen, Munroe Bergdorf, Drag Race's Courtney Act, and drag superstar DJ Jodie Harsh. Each episode our guests will share three cultural moments that helped form their identity - a book, a club night, a film, a song, a first kiss - anything! We'll use these personal moments as a springboard to discuss their lives and careers, creating an intimate, funny, and inspiring conversation.  Founded by model and British GQ Contributing Editor Jack Guinness, The Queer Bible began life as an LGBTQ+ website: a space for our community to tell their stories in their own voices. So often queer histories have been hidden or forcibly erased- bringing our stories into the light connects us through our rich history. We want young people to stand tall, knowing that they follow in the footsteps of some of the most incredible human beings to walk the face of this planet! 'We stand on the shoulders of giants.  It's time to learn their names.' Follow The Queer Bible on Instagram and Twitter - Follow Jack Guinness on Instagram and Twitter. Hosted on Acast.
