About the show

Mersey Views is Liverpool City Council's monthly podcast: an honest, plainspoken conversation between the city and the people who run it. Each episode, council leader Liam Robinson and Dylan Evans take one subject that matters to Liverpool and really get into it, alongside the people living and leading the work. Expect a straight-talking briefing from the leader, a deep dive with guests who know their subject inside out, and Your City, Your Questions, where residents put their questions directly to the leader with no script and no dodging. This isn't a council broadcast. It's warm, accountable, and confident enough to name what isn't working. From becoming an anti-racist city to backing the next generation, Mersey Views is where Liverpool's real conversations happen.
