About the show
Every era in Ireland has its certainties.
In the 1970s: moral conservatism, economic caution and a country still rooted in the land.
Today: human rights, secularism, open borders, Brussels-first, climate action and green energy.
Both positions were held with total confidence.
Both were, or will be, partly wrong.
