Let’s be honest… on bad days, we’ve all dreamt of marching into the boss's office and saying with undeniable conviction, “I quit”. There are days when we want to throw in the towel, when we imagine what could’ve been if only we’d wandered down a different career path. Despite what you may think, it’s never too late to make a change, to reinvent yourself, to follow your dreams… just like Cathrine Mahoney did. Cathrine left her cushy job as a celebrity publicist to make it as an author. Spoiler alert - she got the book deal and published her first book, Currently Between Husbands, and on top of that, she also started a podcast. So, I Quit My Day Job, hosted by Cathrine Mahoney, is a podcast inspired by people from all walks of life who share one thing in common; they took a leap of faith and quit their day jobs in pursuit of their dream gig. From Hairdresser to Crime Scene Cleaner, or Media Sales to Yogi, each episode is a celebration of those who bravely tossed it all in and followed their heart.
